Guests with special needs are very welcome, and we will do our best to accommodate these requirements if at all possible.

We are able to provide ground floor rooms. However, to our great regret it has not proved possible at present to hire a coach with the facility to transport passengers confined to wheelchairs. We can carry two manual wheelchairs if these can be folded for traveling. Clients need to be able to board and exit the coach, but some assistance can be provided by the driver. The coach does have especially low steps, and grip rails. The tour programme has been planned so that customers who find difficulty with a lot of walking can use a wheelchair, although due to the age of the buildings it is not possible to see everything in this way.

There are occasional steps and it will not be possible to provide help here, so we advise that wheelchair users should be accompanied by a strong carer. There is a fair amount of walking involved between destinations.

We are happy to provide for special diets, provided that we are informed at the time of booking.  The Duke of Marlborough is particularly well known for its ability to cater for coeliac sufferers.

Please let us know of any particular difficulties or requirements.

Pets

We cannot accommodate pets on the tour.  In the case of registered assistance dogs, please consult with Dale Tours before booking.
